Thank you for sharing your concerns. We respectfully disagree with the characterization of our company and would like to clarify the situation for accuracy and transparency.
SGT Auto Transport does not allow drivers or carriers to charge customers’ credit cards under any circumstances. All credit card transactions are securely processed only by SGT Auto Transport through encrypted, PCI-compliant systems, and customer payment information is never shared with carriers or third parties.
In your case, the cancellation fee was not charged by a driver or transport company. It was processed by our billing team strictly in accordance with the signed agreement. As clearly outlined in the contract you reviewed and accepted prior to booking, a cancellation fee applies when an order is double-booked with another broker. This policy exists to prevent marketplace conflicts and is transparently disclosed in our terms and conditions.
We take allegations of fraud very seriously, and we want to emphasize that all actions taken on your order were handled in full compliance with the legally binding agreement. No unauthorized charges were made, and no additional fees were applied outside of what was contractually agreed upon.
We value all customers, including our veterans, and we appreciate your service. Our intention is never to cause frustration, but to operate fairly, transparently, and within the scope of the agreement signed by both parties.
