Didn't like credit card but used it anyway

I was good to have SGT transport our vehicle but when it came time to pay, they didn't like my credit card as the zip code was not the same as either the pick up or drop off locations. They wanted a wire transfer at that point. We don't do wire transfers. No choice but to cancel. They used my credit card to charge me the $149 cancellation fee. Funny, now my credit card is good! I used them before and had no issues. Not sure what happened here. Didn't give me my $149 back either as they say it was my fault??

We would like to clarify that the reason the credit card could not be used in this case was because you requested to pay the full amount by credit card. When the full amount is paid by credit card, our policy requires that the credit card billing address match either the pickup or the delivery address. To assist you, we offered our discounted cash rate option, where a partial amount is charged to the credit card as a deposit and the remaining balance is paid directly to the driver via cash or certified funds upon delivery. However, after declining the available payment alternatives and requesting to cancel the order, the cancellation fee became applicable in accordance with Point 8 of the Terms and Conditions of the signed Customer Shipping Agreement. Please be assured that the order was handled in accordance with the signed agreement, and there was no wrongdoing on SGT’s part.
