Tried to get them to transport some equipment & an RV, got a confirmed quote and pickup date but drivers never showed! After many contacts with salesman and repeated excuses as to why the no shows, they raised the price for another driver who never showed but was claimed to be held up by DOT! Then Roadway came back with triple the original quote saying that was the only driver they could find. That driver never showed because his trailer was broken down!! At that point we ask for our deposit to be returned but was that became a constant crying and begging to give them another chance to find a driver. At that point we ask Discover Card to pull back the deposits and they did. Then my phone started blowing up with calls to please give the deposits money back and Roadway would find me a driver!Ask them to just cancel the contracts and we would find another way to move. Months after we moved 2 units ourselves we get a charge from Roadway stating the driver showed up but no one was available to load, total lie because the property is under video surveillance and there is no evidence of any driver ever coming to the property. This is now under investigation. Roadway is repeatedly charging the Discover card for deposits and contract cancelation even though they claim to not charging us anything? This too is being investigated by Discover who was not supposed to be paying anything more until this gets cleared up. No we’re having to go to court and get state and federal involved for interstate transportation fraud. We have all the txt and video proof for the court but will be out lawyer fees until this gets settled! Don’t.even use Roadway unless you have the money to fight with them!!!
