My car was scheduled to be picked up on a Thursday. I wouldn't be available for half the day so I gave then my wife's cell because she would be home all day. The day of pick up, the driver called my cell, and since he got no answer, he canceled my pick up. Called their dispatch and the driver even admitted he had my wife's number, but decided not to call it. In any event, they claimed they couldn't pick it up Thursday, and would reschedule for Friday. The next day I received no phone calls from Acertus. I called at 11:30am to confirm my car was being picked up, and they said yes. At 2:30pm when I still haven't heard anything I called again, they confirmed it was being picked up, and they would get ahold of the driver and have him contact me. Two hours later, after hearing nothing I called again. This time they claimed they couldn't get ahold of the driver and I should assume my vehicle won't be picked upbut they were very sorry they screwed up twice in two days. I was then transfered to a supervisor, and the story completely changed. She told me the driver did attempt to contact me on both phone numbers and didn't receive an answer. This was absolutely false and I told her we had no missed calls in our history, and no voice-mails left. I said I would like to see a screenshot of the drivers call history to confirm he did in fact attempt to call us. She then altered her story saying it might not have been the driver who tried to call us, but rather the local dispatcher. I still said I'd like to see proof they attempted to call me and she said they can't do that (How convenient). In amy event, she said there was nothing she could do as she didn't have a driver available to pick up my vehicle today, but she would do "everything in her power to get it picked up the next day, but she couldn't guarantee it would happen." Basically, there was zero accountability and horrendous customer service. I would avoid this company like the plague.
