My deteriorating health forced me to have to leave my mobility equipped van in Kansas City, MO with my power chair anchored inside it, the 31st of August.
We came back home to NE Tennessee where we have retired and I tried to find someone to take me back to KC to get my van. After figuring the cost round trip with food and motel fees, I decided to check into transport services.
The choices and questions are confusing to say the least! My ALS leaves me with anxiety issues a lot and I get frustrated with the run a round you so often find. When I sent Bill at Transport Connection a message requesting a quote he called in a few minutes.
He has a real authentic caring attitude and actually seems to be genuine. This is a rarity these days, but to top it off while we talked he was searching for cheaper options and posting for lower quotes.He could have stopped at the original quote of $600 shipping and I think it was $250 broker fee, and I would have had to pay, I needed my chair and van back home!
But he didn't. He charged me $100 broker fee and got the shipping down to $500.
I truly appreciate the help and kind words, I felt respected by this man, and he certainly has mine! I hope to never need his service again, but if I do I won't call anyone else!
