I read reviews from several brokers and contacted a couple of them. They were either ambiguous or weren't well informed of the process and costs, or simply didn't return my calls.
Then I called Transport Connection late in the evening, left a message, and was surprised to have the president of the company call me later that same evening. Bill Avrich impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. He was up front with costs, timelines and procedures. It was good to know that all of my communications would be directly with the president of the company. I committed to Transport Connections to manage my car transport, and Bill kept me updated with calls and emails. A couple of days later, Bill called me on a conference call with the shipping company A&Sons Express. As Bill guided me through the process, I was able to question the shipper directly before committing to using them to ship my car. We agreed to the shipment, and the car was picked up in Michigan and delivered to my driveway in California eight days later. Joe, from A&Sons Express called me to schedule the delivery. He was on time, very professional, and helpful in explaining the operation of my electric car. I highly recommend Joe from A&Sons Express, and Bill Avrick, President of Transport Connections.
