I booked Swift Auto Hauling to transport my car from Florida to Massachusetts, with a scheduled pickup date of July 11 and a quoted price of $650. Two days prior, I asked if they could arrange pickup a day earlier (July 10) and whether that would involve any extra cost. They said they would check with a driver and get back to me—but also went ahead and canceled the original July 11 booking.
Later, a representative named Mark told me that the driver was now asking $1,000 for the July 10 pickup. When I declined and asked to keep the original July 11 plan, I was told the driver had already taken another load. Ultimately, I was left with no choice but to proceed at $850—$200 more than the original quote. It felt like a last-minute bait-and-switch.
That said, I’m giving 3 stars because the car was delivered on time.
