As is the case for a lot of people, I had never used a car transport company before now. We bought a car for our son, who was in Army Basic Training, from a dealership in Kansas City, Kansas. We live in Lubbock, Texas. I requested a quote on this shipment, and was bombarded by shippers with quotes. I was a bit overwhelmed with the quotes, so I picked a few and spoke directly to the agent. In the course of these conversations, I learned a lot about the car transport industry. These agents are all brokers and they all want your business. Some will promise things they can't deliver. Their quotes will change to a higher price because of where you live. Over the course of a week or so, I studied some of these companies and read the reviews posted by verifiable customers. Bottom line, I reached out to Shiplux on a weekend for a quote. On Monday morning, I looked at the reviews for Shiplux. There were no pertinent bad reviews on Transport Reviews. I called Larry at Shiplux and I placed the order with him. Within an hour, the driver had been assigned, called me to introduce himself, and the car was picked up that day. It was delivered to my home on Wednesday morning. Couldn't have asked for better service. Larry even gave me a discount due to my son being in the military. I paid a little more than I wanted, but the end result was absolutely fantastic. Perhaps I was just wanting to get this transport done, or perhaps I finally found THE right company to deal with. I would highly recommend Shiplux for car transports. After the car was delivered, I called Larry and asked him "Is it always supposed to be this easy?" He told me yes, if the transport company knows what they're doing. Well, I'm convinced that Shiplux knows what they're doing. Thanks.
