I am a military officer transferring from the Washington DC area to Colorado Springs. I initially contacted 3-4 businesses regarding shipment of my Mustang. Amanda at Safe-Direct was extremely helpful, but I was hoping for an even better price so I kept looking for another week. After working with two other companies that really didn't seem to want my business because they wouldn't call me back or answer my emails, I ended up going right back to Amanda. Unfortunately, summer rates had gone up a bit and Amanda was very forthcoming about what that meant to me. I paid another $100 for delaying. In the end, Amanda got the shipment booked, picked up on the last day of my desired pickup window, and delivered in perfect condition on the exact day they told me. Honestly, even though I paid slightly more than I wanted to, I wish I had just gone with Amanda at Safe-Direct in the first place. If you care about moving your car on-time without damage, Safe-Direct worked out great for me.

Thanks for your excellent feedback, Kel! This is great information to potential shippers - going for a bargain price can cost you time and peace of mind. We are always happy to try for a bargain, but for quick and seamless turn-around, a good offer is the best bet.
