Considering SGT has been in business for over a decade working seamlessly with thousands of motor carriers, tells us NBC Logistics Inc not only failed to read their dispatch contract but had they done so, they would understand the actions taken were to specifically ensure they were paid in full for their services despite the Customer complaining about NBC Logistics Inc's poor communication and false promises to deliver throughout transport.
The customer's vehicle was available for pickup as of 2/3/2025. NBC Logistics Inc was offered the dispatch based on them informing they could pickup the vehicle on 2/5/2025 and deliver approximately on 2/12/2025. Instead, NBC Logistics Inc picked up the vehicle on 2/7/2025 and delivered it on 2/19/2025, 12 days for a 6-7 day transport.
As we all know transport dates are estimated, however when you continue to promise delivery and fail to do so, Customers get angry. After delivery, the Customer expressed their dissatisfaction with NBC Logistics Inc's excuses for delayed delivery and took deliberate actions by retracting their payment by filing a chargeback with their bank. Under dispatch this would mean that neither NBC Logistics Inc or SGT would be paid for their services.
Upon receiving the chargeback, SGT reached out to the Customer who stated "I initially initiated the chargeback due to concerns about the delivery of my vehicle."
After much apologizing, explaining and negotiating with the Customer, we were successful in getting the Customer to reverse their chargeback. The banking chargeback process is a complex one, which SGT navigated in the best interest of NBC Logistics Inc. Written communication was sent to NBC Logistics Inc concerning the matter through to resolution where we received combative and insulting emails claiming untruths.
With that said, NBC Logistics Inc has received full pay because SGT took action to make sure they did. Something which most Brokers would not bother to do.
We can only conclude the negative review was posted because we had to remove NBC Logistics Inc from our Network for lying to the Customer with false delivery promises, causing additional work on our part in having to fight to get back the money they lost, and failure to read or understand the dispatch contract.
