The Ryals Transport Company was contracted to move my 1959 Chevrolet Pickup from Underwood, IA to Floresville, TX. After the truck was delivered, the transport vehicle's trailer struck my front gate as they left and damaged the gate. The gate is unrepairable. I contacted the driver immediately on his cell phone after I noticed the damage. I then took pictures and obtained an estimate for the replacement cost of the gate and passed these on to the Owner of the company. He indicated in November of last year that he would take care of the replacement cost for the gate. As of the writing of this complaint he has not taken care of the reimbursement and refuses to answer my calls or emails. The amount of the gate replacement is approximately $113.50. Pictures and a copy of the gate replacement estimate is available upon request. A co-worker was with me to assist in the unloading of the truck and is witness to the condition of the gate after we let him onto the property and after he departed.
