I had one of the most shocking and dishonest experiences with Royal Auto Ship LLC (MC #1560299), located at 300 Avon St, Philadelphia, PA 19116.
This company operates with deception, lies, and zero responsibility.
?? They used a BAIT-AND-SWITCH scam
They posted a load as a 2021 Toyota Corolla (Ohio to Florida). After booking, they suddenly changed it to a 2025 Mercedes-Benz E450. When our driver arrived — it wasn’t even that.
It turned out to be a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 Electric SUV, over 6,000 lbs, oversized, heavier, and much more expensive to transport.
They also hid the fact that the car was filled with three huge suitcases and cases of bottled water — dangerous, undisclosed extra weight.
?? 90 minutes of arguments to adjust rate
Only after long negotiation did they agree to increase the rate from $500 to $650, promising that $50 would be paid by the customer and $100 via Zelle from their company.
?? Delivery Day — Full Betrayal
On the day of delivery, instead of paying us, Royal Auto Ship told me they “sent the $100 to the customer” and that I should collect it from her.
When they sent proof, I realized they refunded her deposit without even telling her — trying to escape their financial obligation to the carrier.
?? This is more than unprofessional — it’s dangerous
Once a vehicle is picked up, liability cannot be canceled or passed to the customer.
What they did is a complete violation of federal transport rules (FMCSA) and basic ethics.

You risk being scammed, underpaid, manipulated, or completely left without support.
