I am an expat living in Singapore nd I had to move transport my Datsun 240Z from Santa Clara, Ca to Willimette, NC for some work. My Datsun doesn't have a noticeable scratch or dent on it anywhere because it has been babied since it was born. I had a very critical pick up date because i was in the states for a quick visit. I chose Joanne and Parker trucking because of the reviews on this website. this process is all about ownership and I wanted to be confident that the company taking care of my car was going to own the process 100% of the way. Joanne could not put my datsun on one of her trucks but did arrange for a pick up. The driver of the truck was supposed to contact us to schedule a time to pick up 24 hours before hand but for whatever reason decided it wasn't necessary until 1 hour before hand. I understand from the other reviews, this is not uncommon with contrctor's along with many other challenges. Regardless, I was not concerned because I was exchanging e-mails with Joanne 4 times a day to get the status and stay in touch with the company and the driver. She was completly on top of it. Eventually she got the driver to call to decide where to meet exactly. the 24 hour thing didn't matter because she was micromanging his progress the entire time and keeping me informed. This was the very reason I choose Joanne and it made a huge difference in the process. She truly owned it 100% of the way. Car made it to NC right on time with oil on it from the car above it on the transport. This all washed off so no harm done. After the car was cleaned it was confirmed not a single scratch or new dent. It arrived exactly as it left which was a huge relief also givn the horror stories i have read. I will definitely use Parker to ship back after the work is done but I will try to use one of Parkers drivers and trucks. Joanne is a rockstar!!! Regarding pricing, Parker was at least 25% less than any of the other quotes. Another bonus!!! Thanks Joanne. Talk to you soon.

Michael, WHEW....I'm glad I passed that test. lol I apologize for the oil but we always try to put oil leakers on the bottom. Unfortunately vehicles that shouldn't be leaking, do I just transported a 2010 oil leaker! Thank you so much for understanding that it is best to wash then to wipe the oil off your vehicle. When you have a special vehicle such as yours, it is always nice to have a heads up so I know what I am playing with. Thanks for the great review. I look forward to hearing from you in the future.
