*BUYER BEWARE* I was contacted by Gino Lopez at Onroad Transport to haul a boat. I had concerns about insurance. I requested the Drivers MC# and Insurance Cert – both things you the customer are entitled to review and can do so on SAFER.com, a DOT website for commercial transport. He agreed to send to me to review but would not charge my card until I gave the green light. After reviewing and calling his drivers insurance – something you the customer should always do, I was told by insurance that the driver IS NOT insured to transport boats for hire. I told Gino this and he argued with me insurance was wrong and charged me anyway. His following up to this has been borderline harassment, and I should “trust” him as he has been doing this for 8 years. I’m sorry, but no. I will not trust you over the insurance company and take a $50k gamble for the boat. 2 days later he calls to say They gave me the wrong insurance info. Another red flag especially when you knew my concerns, and why do you have multiple certs? That sounds fishy to me as well. Now being forced to dispute with the CC company. Gino will not honor his word unless he gets his way. Bad business practice. *BUYER BEWARE*
