I'm sorry to hear you were unsatisfied with the service. Unfortunately, your review doesn't describe much about your experience. So please allow me to clarify for others who may see this.
You booked your shipment with the first available shipping date (FAD) of 6/8. We dispatched a carrier to pick up on 6/14. You were informed at booking and on our website that we estimate 1-5 business days on average to pick up a vehicle from the FAD. Note that it's an estimation based on many factors, but is not an ultimate guarantee. Delays may occur as informed in your confirmation.
You were unhappy with the dates provided and decided to cancel. As we have dispatched a carrier, there is a $199 cancelation fee for services provided. A lot of logistical work goes into the process of dispatching a carrier to a shipment. I'm not going to break this down here because it would fill pages. But, it's why we charge this fee.
At Montway we believe in transparency. Everything was disclosed upfront. Including our date estimates and cancelation fee. This info is provided in quotes and booking emails. We also include this information on our website at https://www.montway.com/terms-and-conditions. We expect all customers to familiarize themselves with the services that they are paying for. If customers have questions or concerns about this, we're happy to help and address it to the best of our ability.
