Not very curtious

The office staff was not very curtious when we called for information after the first contact, actually they were quite rude and very short with my daughter when she was trying to find out when they were coming for pick up. The driver told her he would be there at 8-10 a.m. then called at 12 to say it would be 4-6, then called at 6 to say it would be the next day. She had alot to do to get ready for the move and she has to sit home for a day and a half, when we were told we would be given a 3 hour window for pick up. At delivery time we were told to call and let them know which day we wanted delivery, and when I called I just got a snotty (did you call the driver?). I called the driver to find out and he was pissy and told me "He didn't know call his office", so I called the office and then was told it would be the next day between 10-12. After this call we went to a local visitors attraction where we had to pay $48 to get in, and 10 minutes after we got there we got a claa form thier driver saying he was 30 minutes away and we needed to be there to get the car! Needless to say we lot our $48 to go meet the driver. I would never use this company again for auto transport and would not reccomend them to anyone else either.

We always mention in our conversation with customer as well as in our written contract and the email we send to customers that delays may occur. We also give drivers # and explain to customer that due do the fact that we cannot predict weather and traffic conditions, and sometime truck problems, we ask customers not to sit home and wait for driver. Instead check in with driver on the first hour of the 4 hours of window to confirm pick up time. We did inform this customer as soon as we found out about the one day pick up delay. Its not only one car we transport on our trucks there are multiple pick up and drops. If something goes wrong due to any of the factors mentioned above, it will effect everyone. As a courtesy we inform everyone on that truck for that day. As far as the delivery, We use a subcontractor to bring your car to your place with a smaller truck so that you do not need to meet driver elsewhere. We had given you the Terminal info for you to check with them since we do not know there schedule and also because your car delivery was on Monday 9/12 and our office is not open over the weekend. We think this rating is not fair.
