I have never been more frustrated from a customer standpoint as I have been in dealing with "Dependable Auto Shippers". There are only two things that are key for good customer service; 1) Communication & 2) Managing Expectations. DAS did neither throughout this entire process. While we were without this car for 22 days, we were without customer service as well. And in the end it was over a week late AND damaged. Along the way I was told several things like, “This is how the transport industry goes.” “Well, that 15 days really isn’t a guarantee.” “We really cannot help you anymore, you will need to check back tomorrow.” “Karen is out right now and is really busy.” It was one excuse after another. I recently sent letters to the President & VP and only received a form letter back with no follow up. It is par for the course for this company and I will continue to spread the word.
