Jimmy Cash, the owner of DMC Auto Transport, breached the transport contract. We paid up front, $3515.00 per his request because he needed to pay the sub-contractors. Jimmy coordinated the pick up and per our conversation, he was going to be responsible to pay the sub-contractor. The sub-contractor came and picked up our vehicle. Up to this point, things seemed like they were going to be fine. Well, turns out, we get a phone call about 10 days later from the sub-contractor stating he will not deliver the vehicle to the second sub-contractor Jimmy had arranged for the delivery to Alaska. Why? Because Jimmy never paid them. They tried calling him and we called numerous times, emailed, even used facebook, but never received a reply. We were even considerate enough to give him a week to respond. What a fraud. So to get our vehicle dropped off to the next sub-contractor, we personally paid. When the vehicle was dropped off to the second sub-contractor, same situation...he failed to pay them as well. In the end, we spent almost $7000 getting our vehicle to Alaska. Jimmy Cash took our money, did just enough so we wouldn't get suspicious, and then vanished. Should've known something was up when he kept requesting a wire transfer vs. credit card payment. If you plan on using a broker for anything, do ensure you will be able to place the payment on hold or dispute the payment due to situations like this. The guy never responded to us or the other people we have trying to track him down. Dont do business with this company.
