The first time I shipped with this company everything went smoothly. This last time didn’t go as well. I am in the military and was due to report on the 23rd to my new command. I wanted my car to arrive no earlier than the 23rd because I wouldn’t be there and I didn’t know anyone that could receive it for me. I first contacted CVS 2 weeks before my ship date. They quoted me a fairly low price and even threw in a military discount. However, days before the ship date I hadn't heard from anyone. I had received a few emails from Kim that stated "The dispatcher and I are getting aggressive in finding you a carrier."
After the 23rd went by Kim recommended I increase the price and additional $200! Fallon, NV is right outside of Reno, so it’s not like the location was in the middle of nowhere. After increasing the price again another I got word that my car was going to be picked up. I went from an $1100 quote to $1385.
Marvins Auto Transport did the shipping; he was extremely professional and nice. I had a few things of small value in my trunk that were not stolen. He was accommodating and called me often to let me know where my car was.
Overall, CVS did a good job, Kim seemed to be very knowledgeable and I liked how everyone in the company had access to my account so I could get information from anyone when I called. Glory was very friendly and knowledgeable as well, she had a good sense of humor, which I appreciate. In two years I'll have to move again and I'll be calling CVS. I trust this company and I recommend them to anyone.
