Cascade Vehicle Shipping offers Mr. Patack a very sincere apology that his son's personal belongings were taken out of the vehicle sometime during transport. In no way would Cascade ever condone such criminal behavior. For those reading this review, however, Cascade would like to publish our policy on transporting personal items in a vehicle, a condition Mr. Patack was aware of prior to placing his order with Cascade, a policy that goes out on every quote Cascade sends, and is also available for reading on our website.
"Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. and the carrier are not responsible for the transport of personal items in the vehicle. Federal law prohibits Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. or the carrier from doing so. Shippers (or agents) who transport personal items in the vehicle do so at their own risk. Please check with your private insurance to determine if coverage exists."
For this reason, Cascade Vehicle Shippping does not recommend placing personal items in a vehicle that is being transported.
