Shipping a car from Hawaii involves a boat trip then assignment to a carrier. Due to a previous positive experience with Capitol Auto Transport (CAT), I promptly called them and asked them to handle the transport. They set up shipment with Matson and all I had to do was make the payment, then CAT arranged for the stateside carrier. At all times, Dakota was up front, honest, patient, explained how it worked, and answered my questions. At no time did I feel pressured to make the decision to use CAT. What mattered most to me was honesty and I trusted CAT. The car arrived safely within the time frame quoted and the stateside carrier was very professional. I would not hesitate to use CAT again and highly recommend their services.
P. S. On my previous experience with Capitol Auto Transport, I did obtain quotes from several carriers and the prices varied widely, including one that was twice what CAT quoted, so I feel their price quotes are reasonable and fair.
