I posted this vehicle on Central Dispatch and Big O Called me regarding this shipment and I booked with them on 5/24/2013 for $200.00. I was told the driver had a flatbed and was no problem to deliver in residential area. Towing company had one week advanced notice the vehicle arriving into JAX was A 2008 Hummer H2. Sent all the import docs and rate confirmation to Big O on 5/24/2013. Driver shows up with double deck trailer for 4 cars and the vehicle won't fit on the trailer.
Vehicle custom cleared yesterday 5/30/2013, I was promised first thing this morning 5/31/2013 for PU. Driver arrived at 1pm. Left the port without the vehicle or advising me there was an issue. I received a call from his dispatcher at 4pm on Friday 5/31 they could not haul the vehicle. The port closes for the weekend at 4pm and had to beg the man there at K-Line to wait for this driver to return, due to the fact my customer is handicapped and needed his wheelchair from the vehicle. Driver showed back up 5:30-6pm to the port to drive the vehicle to my customer. He finally delivered in Palm Coast, FL. at 9pm. None of the docs I provided to the towing company were signed by the customer, no vehicle inspection report from when he PU the vehicle, No BOL, Driver had the customer sign a rate confirmation that shows what I was paying the towing company. Absolutely NO SENSE OF URGENCY WITH THIS COMPANY AND POOR, POOR, CUSTOMER SERVICE.
