I had a contract with SGT starting on Thursday 8/21, but there was a three business day window. Kim Gade, from ASG, contacted me and said she could get a carrier to pick up my car tomorrow (Friday 8/22) and deliver in 7 - 10 days, for a lower rate. She convinced me to break my contract with SGT, costing me $149, then I gave her a $179 deposit. Early Friday, she calls me and said that the driver made a mistake, and can't pick up the car until Wednesday, 8/27. I said that's not acceptable. She then says I'll find another carrier. She calls back and said she found one to pick it up 8/22, and sent me the info. I saw that that the estimared delivery date was Sept 9 - 11. Nearly three weeks! I said "No way." She said "I'll keep looking" - I said no you've done enough damage, I want to be reimbursed my $179. She said okay, but has not done it thus far. This ordeal has cost me $328, and I'm back to square one.

William, Please let me clarify a few things so that people reading this understand what has actually happened the last 24 hours. You called us to place an order not realizing we were not SGT. When I got on the phone with you to help my coworker I explained who we were. I then opened up SGT's website and read off to you the terms in which they have the right to charge you a 149 cancellation fee. I said if you'd like us to look as well we could do that. You agreed. I told you per our terms we would not charge you anything until we found you a carrier.. I called a few carriers and yes found one yesterday for you, send you the information and got your permission to process the deposit (in writing), you also then signed our invoice agreeing to our terms and conditions. This morning I received a message from my dispatcher that the local truck that would pick up your vehicle had been over booked and the earliest they could pick up was Tuesday. Since you wanted pick up by this weekend, I let you know we would find another carrier. We indeed found another carrier to pick up today for you, and yes because of Labor day weekend they were predicting an extra few days for transport. You didn't want to take that carrier, so we cancelled that carrier and began looking again. You then started threatening me with telling me you were going to call the FBI for fraud. I said we have done no such thing. We have found 2 carriers which you have both of their information as proof that we did in fact find two carriers for you. You then chose to cancel everything. As for SGT, it is up to them and their terms if you cancelled with them if they elect to charge the cancellation fee. I have our conversation recorded where I read off to you about the cancellation possibilities. You asked me if we were going to reimburse you for that and I stated no. You also asked me on the phone yesterday if we had a cancellation fee at which I replied we do not until we assign you a truck. I did issue a refund request with my accountant to day for the deposit less the cancellation fee and she will get to it. I'm not sure what you mean by damage as you placed your order yesterday with us, we found you two carriers, and one yes unfortunately had an issue, the other one was within our terms of finding you a carrier that you signed and agreed to. I'm sorry if that was not made more clear to you. With the carrier we had today it was possible that they would deliver a little earlier but you didn't give me enough time to even go through that with you as you started to do threats.. I do with you well and hope you find a company that can assist you.
