Auto Cars Transportations is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with in every aspect of a business. I spoke with Carol in the sales department on July 12. After asking many questions and her reassurances for a smooth experience, I chose to give her $150 over the phone, via credit card. Carol stated that the transport was less then 500 miles and an easy transport. She further stated that because of the small amount of miles, the car may even be picked up and delivered the same day. When I asked her why their electronic signature form stated the amount as an "estimate", she explained to me that at times, customers overfill their cars with more then 100 lbs. and/or want to transport a car that does not run. This "estimate" was from their legal department just in case customers tried to take advantage of them!

The promise made to me was that my parents car in Orlando, Florida, would be picked up at their home, by July 21. We agreed to a window of the 20th - 21st, should any problems arise with the drivers. Needless to say, I had not heard anything from them so on the 20th, I spoke with Tom in customer service, THREE times regarding the lack of communications for pick-up. On the third conversation, Tom stated, "Well, we can not find a driver willing to take your truck at this time but if you are willing to pay more money, I can maybe find someone." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! You thieving scumbag??

I did not hear from Tom again until this morning (the 21st) and he stated that he did indeed find a driver willing to pick up my car if I wanted to pay the driver $300 dollars, instead of the remaining $245. The car would also NOT be picked up until the 22nd! So, not only was he NOT able to pick up the car on the date promised, but he also wanted MORE money! How does this work? I will tell you how...this company hopes that you are in a desperate situation and feel either STUCK enough to pay more or just take his original down payment and run. Either way, it is an unethical company that I hope will fall to pieces one day.

After arguing with Tom over the ethics of the whole situation, he proceeded to tell me that my deposit was non-refundable and that I signed an electronic form stating that I would not dispute the transaction. I told him that he promised to perform a task on a certian timetable and was not able to provide the service so YES, I do have a legitimate claim to dispute this charge. Tom then told me that with all the disputes with credit cards, he has never lost the case...HAHAHA!!! Good luck Tom. My credit card company laughed! Remember one thing Auto Cars Transport, what goes around, comes around!!

Dear Ms. Thompson, anyone who takes the time to read your review will clearly see you have some deep seeded problems that have nothing to do with the service you got from our company. You canceled on your pick up day. We were not even late. We offered you one solution that was $25 more because you seemed FRANTIC. We would have moved your vehicle at the rate you booked at but you canceled before we could. We wish you the best.
