I initiated a conversation with Angela from American Auto Transport. I called for a quote to transport my car from my home in CA to TX and I was quoted a little over $1370, she then said she could leave the price at $1300. I told her I needed time to think about
making a commitment. Finally, I committed to the the price and the next day Angela emailed me a contract. I filled out the electronic contract and I provided my credit card
number to be billed what I thought would be a $250 deposit. The rest of the money was to be paid in cash, Zelle, Venmo or Cashier check to the driver upon pick up in order to avoid an addition 9% fee for using my credit card. The next day in the morning Angela and her assistant Jennifer called me and they billed me $200 for the deposit
and said a driver would call me the morning of Friday (the next day) with a pick up time for my vehicle and an expected delivery of the vehicle in Texas on Tuesday (4 days later). Come Friday, I answered EVERY unknown phone call to my phone and the
driver never called.
