I have no complaints with the broker (Hilton Transport). I received excellent customer service from Nicole. She has been in constant contact with me throughout the move and has follow-up on every phone call on a timely basis.

My complaint is with the trucking company that was used to transport my car (Ambela, Inc.). The following day after I received my car, I noticed a huge puddle of fluid in my driveway. I immediately took my car to the dealer. When driving to the dealer I noticed that during turns, the car made a loud, cranking noise.

The dealer gave me an estimate of $400 and said that the fluid in my driveway was transmission oil and I needed a new gasket. In addition a link to the suspension needed to be replaced. None of these issues were a factor when the car was in my care.

After witnessing how the cars are secured on a truck, I can see how this damage could occur to any car. The car is fastened to the truck with chains via the wheel well.

When I called Ambela and made them aware of the problems I was having, and the amount of the estimate, they were very unwillinging to work with me. They very rudely stated that they are not responsible for any mechanical or electrical issue that occur in transit. They wouldn't even meet me half way with the estimate.

I understand that contracts are in place to protect a company but what is in place to protect a consumer when they receive goods that are in inferior condition. In addition to the $1,090 that it cost me to have my car transport across country, I know have to come out of pocket with another $400.

Nicole from Hilton Transport (the broker) contacted me immediately and was very sympathetic to the issues I was having. As usual, she worked with me to an agreeable resolution and I am being compensated for damages.

Thank you to Hilton Transport for knowing the meaning of customer service and working this out with a valued customer.

Shame on Ambela, Inc. for bearing no responsibility and losing a customer!
