I shipped three vehicles from Lakeland, Florida, to Ashdod Port, Israel through All Transport Depot Inc. (FMC License #021693) and had one of the worst experiences in international shipping.
After receiving their official invoice #16108 dated August 20, 2025, for a total of $6,695 (door-to-port service), I paid in full before pickup. The invoice included no “preliminary” note or disclaimer and clearly represented a final price — same as my prior successful shipment with them.
About 20 days after pickup, All Transport Depot suddenly emailed me demanding an additional $1,003 for supposed “inspection” and “documentation” charges. These fees were never disclosed before or included in the signed invoice. When I questioned it, the company ignored all communication for weeks. Their staff — Eve (Accounting), Susan, and Ruth — told me directly that unless I paid, my container would not be released overseas.
I was forced to pay under protest just to get my vehicles released and avoid storage penalties. Later, I found out that they had removed the wheels from all 3 cars without informing me, causing an extra $600 expense at the destination for reinstallation.
Every part of this process was misleading, unprofessional, and coercive. I have complete documentation — invoices, emails, wire confirmations, and ZIM Line correspondence — proving the overcharge and the pressure they applied.
I have filed a formal complaint with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and with the Better Business Bureau, seeking a refund of $1,600 for the unauthorized charges and additional expenses.
If you value honesty, communication, and transparency, avoid this company at all costs. Work directly with legitimate carriers like ZIM Lines instead of brokers who hide behind small print and surprise invoices.
