This review is highly misleading. Yellowfin Logistics, in strict compliance with the standard industry protocol governing all Shipping Agents, charges a deposit only once our customers accept an offer from a Carrier to transport their vehicle. Our records show that, indeed, you had authorized the payment of a deposit at the time of accepting a Carrier’s offer for your shipment. As discussed in our Service Agreement, provided to you prior to commencing work on your order, although most shipments do go according to schedule, a Carrier can never guarantee pickup and delivery dates. There are instances where dates or times need to be shifted due to the numerous variables that may unexpectedly affect a Carrier's progress on the road (delays caused by other shippers using the same hauler, traffic, weather, mechanical failure). In instances where a Carrier cancels a pickup, Yellowfin will work to secure a replacement transport solution immediately. It is for this reason that our contract clearly states that we require our customers to agree to a 7-day pickup window. As with your shipment, your Dedicated Advisor secured a replacement Carrier well within this agreed window. You insisted, nevertheless, on declining the replacement and cancelled your order. As our Brokering service had been provided as contracted and in full, your deposit was retained for services rendered. As a courtesy to you, however, your Shipping Advisor did waive the cancellation fee required when an order is cancelled prior to the expiration of your contract with Yellowfin. All activity on your order was handled as contracted and in full compliance with industry protocols and procedures.
