It’s completely mortifying when misunderstandings like these occur, Quirsten, which is the reason we make the best of efforts to ensure our contracts and terms of service are comprehensive, straightforward and easy to read. It is important to note that our Terms and Conditions stipulate that once we have successfully brokered a deal with a Carrier, you agree to personally and independently maintain contact with this Carrier in order to receive the most up to date information on the progress of your transportation (as one would when confirming transport on a bus liner or airplane). According to our records, you refused to honor the payment to the Carrier. Our T’s & C’s specify clearly that should this occur, the Carrier is permitted to place your vehicle in storage, at your own expense, until such time as the outstanding amount is settled. Our records also show that the current stalemate between yourself and the Carrier is solely due to an interpersonal complication. In order to assist in providing a solution, we would strongly recommend that all personal issues be given secondary position to the contracted agreement. Do keep your eye open for a call from me over the next couple of days so that we can get to the bottom of the situation and determine how we can provide a satisfactory solution. Alternatively, should you prefer, you can contact me directly at chris@yellowfinlogistics.com (Chris Ovuka, General Manager).
