We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience the delay in pickup may have caused. However, Wise nor any other broker could have foreseen or prevented the issues that arose here. This is a route that we normally have an abundance of carriers, but do to the weather and spike in gas prices on this route, our normal contracted carriers had shut down indefinitely. Once an issue like this arises Wise Dispatch Team will begin a 'triage' stage. Which entails waiving all broker fees associated with the order, adding extra fees to the carrier rate to entice off route carriers, and proactively looking for carriers that our outside of our network. Unfortunately, due to the customers uncommon pickup location and issues previously mentioned, the problem simply compounded as we got deeper into our busy summer season. Wise Auto Shipping did everything we could to help move this vehicle, including waiving our fees and offering to pay out of our pocket any extra cost it would take to get picked up. However, as it was explained to the customer and contrary to their claim, this was not a matter of money, but was due rather, to the lack of carriers on this route at this time. This is highly uncommon for us on any route in the country and as previously mentioned, issues like this are extremely hard to predict. All we can do when they arise, is to help the customer understand the situation and hold their hands until the vehicle gets moved. With that said, The vehicle WOULD HAVE GOTTEN MOVED. Based on our progress and as we informed the customer it was just a matter of waiting a few more days for the weather to subside in the east and fuel costs to drop. In regards to the transportreviews.com claim, this is simply or process and our right to verify reviews that are placed about or company on this website. There are many fraudulent reviews placed on TR.com every day and therefore we must be vigilant in determining if these reviews are actually our customers or not. We are sorry if the process of verifying the review was inconvenient for the customer. Lastly, customer states that we did not waive our broker fee after here initial agreement to upgrade to Express Service. This is simply not true. On the 2nd Day of the 3 day window for Express Service, Wise Auto Shipping waived all broker fees and applied the entire shipping cost to the carrier rate to help expedite booking. In closing, we are terribly sorry for any inconvenience and understand that this was a very frustrating experience for the customer. However, we do not feel that this review provides an accurate representation of the services provided by Wise. As you can see from our numerous other customer reviews, issues like these are highly uncommon. Nevertheless and as always Wise will use this negative review to help us better our services and customer support procedures.
