I picked this company to ship my car based on all the high ratings on this website. Something must have gone terribly wrong with my order, because I experienced none of the positives.

1) The pick-up date window for my car was from Feb 18-23, my car was finally picked up on Mar. 4. I think it was only picked up then because I had called Sue and said "I AM MOVING TOMORROW. WHEN IS MY CAR MOVING???" So she was able to schedule a trip within the next week.

2) Because I ended up moving before my car, I had to get someone else to deliver my car to the driver. Although I called Sue with the contact info for this person, the driver had no knowledge of this and I also had to give him the new contact information.

3) The cost in the end was $150 above the original price quote. Granted the original price quote was inexpensive for this route, I feel it was dishonest to quote so low if that price is unrealistic. The price in the end was about average for what I have seen posted for this route, so I would have liked to have that price upfront.

4) Another potential perk for the company was the tracking system available on the website. However, this tracking system did not work. It either returned blank email messages to me or only gave error messages. Calls to the company about this tracking feature and the ETA of my car remained unanswered.

If I ever have to ship my car again, I will not use this company, nor would I advise others to use this company.

We are sorry that Wendy's transport did not meet her expectations. We are also sorry that Wendy feels that we lied to her. Our policy not only in our business, but our life is "We have our Ceator to stand before and a clean conscience makes for a good pillow." 1) Our contract states we have 30 days to assign a carrier to a transport from the first available pick up date. Wendy's first available pick up date was 2/18. We had untill 3/18. 2) Wheeler Shipping did indeed give the new contact information to the office. Perhaps it did not get relayed to the driver. 3) Wendy and I discussed the amount and decided that a little volkswagon beetle would tranport for less than a larger car. It would have transported at that price if we could of been patient and waited for a carrier that would move it for that amount. However Wendy decided she needed her car ASAP since she was already there. The only carrier in the area at that time was one the is generally more expensive coompared to most and that was what they would move it for. We presented their offer to Wendy. She accepted it. 4) This is the first that we knew anyone was having a problem with the tracking feature. We will have our webb site tec people investigate.
