After lots of internet research on this site and others and then several phone calls to various brokers, I decided to go with Wheeler Trucking. Sue is very "down to earth", she does her homework to identify the best transports to use and she doesn't try to pressure you into going with her company (unlike every other broker I spoke with). I probably spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with Sue to have her answer several questions I had for her. She was very patient and friendly and didn't try to push me to make a decision to go with her company.

Sue may charge a little extra money, but based on how this business works, if you want your car to be transported by a reputable transport company that will pick up and deliver your car on time and safely, you should be willing to pay a little extra. If you look at the highest rated transport companies on this site, you'll notice that they charge a premium. This is because they know the best transport trucking companies will be willing to transport your car at the higher price. The lower end brokers, low-ball your quotes and you'll find that it could be weeks before your car is picked up and delivered.

The company that Sue Wheeler chose for my car's transportation is Terry Transport. This is a small family run business and everyone was very professional throughout the entire transaction. They kept me up to date on when the car will be picked up and delivered and called me in advance to let me know they were an hour away from delivering the car. Terry also delivered the car during the day, not in the middle of the night like other reviewers (who likely paid less) have complained about on this site.

After the car was delivered, I also received an unsolicited follow-up call from Sue Wheeler to ensure the car was delivered as expected. Its customer service like this that keeps people going back to Sue for their auto transportation needs.

When talking with Brokers, always remember to ask what the deposit is and what the cash on delivery (COD) amount will be. The deposit goes to the broker and the remainder goes to the driver. The higher the COD amount, the faster the car will be picked up and delivered.
