This gentleman was refunded when asked. We tried to move the vehicle at the lower price that he requested. He stated that he was not in hurry to get done. We have a company that wanted to pick it up and canceled with us on that. I am sorry to hear that upset him as it did us also. He was not lied to. When he was told give me 2 hours. That was from me. I told him I was refunding his deposit and adding that same amount to the truck. Would not change what he paid, the truck would just collect it on delivery. I listed it on the load board and he call me back screaming at us about doing so. The deposit refund was done about an hour prior and was delayed slightly by paypal since it had to go through there and then to his credit card. I guess was not fast enough.
If any customer of ours asks us to try and save them money, we do. Sometimes, I do not think they hear us when we say that it could make their move take longer. I am sorry that this happens, but I can assure any one that is reading this, We do tell all customers that if they want to save money they can lower the price, and it could take longer. If you want it faster, pay more.
