We were dealing with Art from We Will Transport It (“WWTI”) to transport our 8x16 swim spa from WI to NC. Their driver showed up 3 hrs late, resulting in us being charged an extra 2 hrs for the crane we hired that was required to load the spa onto the truck. When we called to take it up with Art, he accused us of being unwilling to pay and threatened to take it back to WI. He was supposed to arrange for a crane in NC and even gave us an estimate for it. Of course, he never arranged for a crane and then scrambled to get one. He told us someone would be by to assess the job. It turns out, Art just dumped our property off (without notifying us to get our authorization) with this random guy who didn’t even have a crane. By the time we arranged for a crane, this man had been holding on to our spa for us for over 2 weeks and then charged us $1,000 for storage and delivery. When he delivered the spa on the day we scheduled the crane, we discovered that the tarp had been removed and the spa was filled with water due to some storms in the area making it unable to be lifted by the crane. The crane had to be rescheduled again. We were unaware that it had been improperly stored. The company president William Meyer has been less than helpful in trying to rectify this and wants to take zero accountability. I’d give this company zero stars if I could.
