Shipping my vehicle 900 miles

I purchased my used vehicle on ebay and was planning to fly down to Knoxville, TN and meet the owner and drive the 900 miles back to New York. But after finding out that the flight was $350+ taking a 1/2 day due to two flights and then drive by myself for two long days....I changed my mind and checked out the shipping cost. Ebay is very good at providing auto carriers, so I called the lowest price one, United Road, spoke to Crystal and she was able to provide me with all the details within 10 minutes, answered all my questions and told her I needed to check further. I called another carrier that I found from doing a google search, got a recording and hung up. Called one more company to check pricing and was uncomfortable with his demeanor and higher cost. I called Crystal back at United Road, booked the order, paid the fee and was totally on cruise control the rest of the way. I contacted my seller later that day to inform him of the changes and he had already been notified by United Road and was provided with all of the same confirming details. Within the next three days, the vehicle pick up date was confirmed after United Road got the sellers release of the vehicle. They picked up the car exactly as promised on Wed AM and exactly as planned the vehicle arrived safely at my home on Friday afternoon. I couldn't have asked for a better organization to work with and disuade all of the fears that I thought could happen. The communication at all levels of United Road was quick, polite and professional and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a car transporting company in their territory. I am a totally independent buyer and am not compensated in any way by anyone for this review. I tell it like it happens. There were no issues in any respect with this transaction and would definitely use them again if the need arose.
