Spoke with Elizabeth on Friday2/21 and was guaranteed no problem for pick up on Monday, 2/24. This after I was put on hold for her "to check". We were all set, she took credit card # for deposit and said someone would call me back shortly. 10 minutes later I received a call from someone representing themselves as "Michael" and claimed to be a dispatcher. He said that NAO Auto Transport in Spokane, WA would be doing the job and that my credit card would be charged $100 now with the balance due on delivery. I agreed and was told my driver's name was also Michael.
Come Monday morning I thought I would call NAO directly to make sure we were on schedule. Imagine my surprise when I was told a) there is no Michael there and b) my car wasn't scheduled for pickup until Wednesday. This was from John at NAO directly. When I contacted Elizabeth about this, she acted all innocent about it and feigned outrage because "they had promised me". Well..she says to give her a few minutes and she'll call me back. 45 minutes later I call her and of course, puts me on hold for a few minutes and comes back with " I can get someone for tomorrow". So I tell her "Fine, what time?". "I need to call you back". She never does so 30 minutes later (it's now approaching their closing time) I call her again and now she's asking how late can the vehicle be picked up. I tell her 6 pm is when the dealer closes and she says she'll get back to me. She also claims that NAO said I had cancelled the pickup, which I did not. In fact, I left it with NAO that I will get back with them and to please keep the order active. C'mon...how many times do you think I'm going to continue with this BS? ENOUGH!!!!! And for what it's worth, the car involved is a 2014 Corvette Stingray that I had custom built and has been sitting at the dealership in Idaho now for a week. It's not like we're dealing with a Spark or Corolla. I am making other arrangements at this point as United is not to be trusted......
Finally, United Auto claimed I wasn't a customer and had Transport Reviews remove my review (according to their policy). Of course I had proof in the form of United Transport's charge of my credit card for the $100 deposit so Transport Reviews reinstated my review. Yet again another dishonest move on the part of United Auto Transport out of Florida. DO NOT deal with this outfit
