I recently sold my Miata and purchased a Volvo P1800, The reviews below cover the initial shipment--Miata to Chicago and then the update for the Volvo to Maryland. Jerry at UT123 shared his knowledge of the industry and gave honest advice. The Miata shipment was arranged on a tight schedule while the Volvo was delayed because the seller made some last minute repairs. Jerry managed both extremely well. Update--Volvo to Maryland Jerry at UT 123 did a great job arranging the move for my new project, a 1960s Volvo from Massachusetts to Maryland. All went well, and the car arrived exactly in the middle of the two hour window I was given when the car was picked up. The total cost of the transportation was exactly as initially promised. Jerry helped me considerably when I was first looking for a shipper. He told me that (1) I should make sure quoted amounts were guaranteed and not an estimate and (2) UT 123 would most likely use a contractor (not their own trucks) because the Volvo was being moved from Cape Cod, which was notorious for summer traffic. Jerry also checked on the width of our street because I was concerned about a truck navigating our the streets in our neighborhood. After the Volvo was picked up, I received loading photos and then a call from the partner shipper to verify my address and payment method. They also told me that the car would be delivered during a 3am-5am window. The car arrived at 4am as recorded by our Ring. We slept through the delivery and the driver avoided Washington traffic. Communication with the partner was excellent. We texted several times, and they responded within minutes. Initial post--Miata to Chicago Ultimate Transport picked up my Miata that I sold on Bring a Trailer and delivered it to Chicago in three days. Jerry worked with the buyer and me to fit the pickup into my tight schedule. In the end, the car was picked up within the agreed window. Jerry and then the driver kept is informed on pickup day, a Saturday. Jerry and his team are now arranging for deliery of my next project, and I am confident that this will go smoothly.
