Any positive reviews you see below are FAKE. Refer to (a) Yelp’s reviews (*1.5-star* average) of US Star Trucking… (b) Their Better Business Bureau rating of *F*. My recent horrible experience with them is sheer 1-star and F... I contracted for auto transport two Saturdays ago with US Star’s “Tony Williams”, for pick-up 6 days later. I confirmed the booking 2 days prior to their contracted pick-up. ON THE MORNING OF the contracted pick-up date, Tony texted that the driver’s “truck broke down” “so pick up slightly delay”. »»» I then spoke to Tony’s boss, “Jake”. Jake told me that US Star will either honor today's contracted pick-up date at a *70%* higher price ($1000 vs the contracted $590)... Or that I could wait *7 to 10 days* days for another driver. (“Slightly delay”? ??) Jake then refused to refund my $100 deposit because *I* “canceled the contract”. Huh? This is despite the fact that his contract states “Refund Policy: US Star Trucking LLC will issue a refund under the following circumstances: If no driver shows up for the scheduled pickup.” UNBELIEVABLE, right? TRUE. »»» So I posted the first version of this review. I phoned Tony to let him know it was up. Tony declared that he would refund my deposit *only if* I (a) deleted my review, and (b) promised him “man to man” that I wouldn’t re-post it. I lied and said I wouldn’t… Because I reserve the right to deal dishonorably to achieve a just outcome against a “man” who makes dishonorable dealings his business model — as Jake obviously does. »»» PLEASE... DO NOT believe any response from Jake you see below — it's *all hot air, zero action*. And most importantly, DO NOT GIVE A CENT OF YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY TO US STAR TRUCKING (especially not via bank transfers, which are nearly impossible to get back). Other companies are much more deserving. In particular, Mercury Auto Transport has quoted me $144 more… But has better *real* reviews across the board, including with Yelp and the BBB… And has a much more professional operation. I regret not doing slightly deeper research and going with either a reputable broker with their act together, or with UDecide (broker-free booking directly with carriers). ??
