We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we completely understand how frustrating and stressful this situation must have been, especially with travel plans and a college deadline involved. Please know that it was never our intention to put you in a difficult position.
That said, we do want to clarify a few points. As stated in both our initial communication and in the signed contract, the quoted price is always an estimated rate based on current market trends and driver availability at the time of booking. This is standard practice in the auto transport industry, as rates can fluctuate—especially on short notice or routes with limited driver coverage.
We understand that a price change after confirmation can feel unfair, but unfortunately, this sometimes happens when a carrier isn’t secured in time or market rates shift. We did try to communicate the change as soon as we were notified by the driver.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and sincerely regret that we couldn’t meet your expectations. If you would like to discuss this further or need assistance with another option, we’re here to help.
