I'm lucky to have Bill set up the shipping company for me. He is very knowledgeable and is well connected to many carriers. He actually set up a 3-way call with the carrier so I can get all the first-hand information. The carrier is also professional and get my cars from PA into CA only in 4 days. My overall experience is very positive - the only downside is that the pick-up time was supposed to be 5pm but it was delayed to 6am the next day. I don't blame the carrier as they have quite a few cars to pick up.
