I first contacted Bill Avrich @ Transport Connections to move my 32 Ford from Arkansas to PA. Bill required a $300 refundable deposit to get the job done. I agreed. Shortly after my order was posted on Central Dispatch, competitors contacted me, advising that I never should have a $300 deposit. Being a first time shipper, they spooked me so I contacted Bill for a refund. Bill refuted their false claims of being a "bad guy" and gave me good reasons to stick with him. I did so. About two hours later, Bill phoned me with the carrier on the other line, advising that the carrier could pick up the next day, for even less $$ than Bill originally quoted. Not only was pickup quick, but delivery was less than 24 hrs. Bill at Transport Connections did a superior job, which backed up everything he initially told me, Don't be spooked by the deposit, he knows his business and will get the best price possible.
