So I had to ship a 1979 Volkswagen Festfalia from Florida to Texas. Never done this before. Uship.com quoted me approximately $1,700.00 to do it. Chris Helbing (941.225.8166/chris@tnationautocarriers.com) over at TransNation quoted me an initial $850.00 but he did it for $800.00. Real patient, accomadating and an overall just nice guy. And believe me yall, I had a lot of questions being that I'd never shipped anything this big before!
Pretty much the only thing that had me in anxiety was the waiting for a driver to respond to my ad. It took about 1 week but finally we got a driver on a Thursday. Friday the next day, the kombi was picked up. Sunday 12noon it arrived!
Such a relief all went well!
