Never deal with a broker again

We called Total Car Shipping LLC about having a car transported from Texas to Colorado. They were very friendly and said there would be no problem...the car would be picked upt the day we wanted it picked up and delivered the day we wanted it delivered. ..also said 'their driver' would be able to pick up another car from us when they delivered the first car and deliver it to Kansas and be sure it would arrive there Saturday or Sunday. Then when I called them back several days later about picking up the car in Texas, I was told that I would have to talk with the shipper about pick up and delivery as they were only a broker and had just, 30 mintutes before my call, contacted a shipper about transporting the cars. Of course the shipper said they would not be able to work on the schedual Total had given us and the pick up date and delivery date would be different. Total told us that THEY would be doing everything from pick up to delivery...they lied about EVERYTHING... they are a broker..and they broker it out to someone else who does the actual transporting. NEVER deal with a broker if you can help it. Find an independent shipper and skip the broker. You will save yourself a lot of frustration.
