At first I was quite reluctant to use TopNotch because they were actually quoting me a price that was 20 dollars below basically everyone else so it made me suspicious that I may not be getting the best in terms of quality. However, after I spoke at length with Julie, the contact person whom I was assigned to, I felt much more confident. She explained to me the process by which they try to obtain contracts with truckers and other drivers, particularly that it was a rather fluid process and it all depended on whether they could find someone during any given time or season who would be willing to transport at a certain price. Along with this, she explained that the price she quoted for me was only an estimate and would not be exact until she had actually sealed the deal (much like priceline). So given that all transporter companies work like this, I knew what to expect and everything went very smoothly. Julie picked up the 2 times that I called her and I was not left with a dreaded voicemail where I would have to leave a message that I knew would never be returned. She was very professional and polite as well and would enjoy doing business with her again in the future if I need to transport my car.
