My 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was shipped from San Francisco, CA to Syracuse, NY with the help of Safeway Auto Transport. I found them after trying for over a month to book an acceptable competitive option with uShip (whom I used very successfully for my household goods- they just didn't work for the auto shipment). The rep, Dan Kutcher, was very easy to contact via text message and on the phone and clearly was trying to help me- however, things ran right down to the wire and changed quite a few times. For example, I was originally told that it would be a couple days to get a pickup booked, it ended up taking almost a week. I was told it would cost less than it ultimately did. I was told it was going to be a closed carrier truck and to meet it after work one afternoon- it never showed. The next day I was told it would be an open carrier and ultimately that's what I used (a bit out of desperation). In the end, the cost was better than uShip and the driver was excellent. My vehicle made it to NY without issue.
Summary, Stateway got the job done but there was definitely a lot of contact and stress involved and we only had hours to spare before my moving company arrived and I flew from CA to NY.
