Their original quote seemed a bit low. I called a few days later to confirm, and it increased, but not by much. We confirmed the contract and I waited for a carrier to agree to move the vehicle. Nothing happened for five days. I asked, and they told me it could take up to 7. Then I checked around and realized the bid was too low, so the car wasn't going to go anywhere. I immediately penned an email to Rebecca, outlining what I'd thought had happened, and how we might work through it. I knew Stateway's fee was lower than others, so that wasn't an issue. It was simply finding the fair amount for the carrier. I sent the email and she called me within one minute. Literally. She talked to me as she reviewed the quote and the other transport prices on the route, and we came to a number that she believed would move the vehicle but still put me in the fair range of other bids. The car arrived 5 days later, with no issues. We all have hiccups in our daily business. What separates people is how they handle it. This one worked out well.
