I placed an order with Stateway to have my car shipped from California to DC. I only gave them a few days to find a driver but in the meantime got sucked into one of the calls from the hundred other shippers and tried to cancel my order with Stateway. All of the other companies told me the bid was my car would never be picked up so I went with another shipper and canceled my Stateway order. I don't have anything bad to say about the other transport company but I wish I had just let the process play out as I originally intended.

Based on their accommodation of helping me fix my double booking mistake, I wish I could have used them, but due to the rigidness of the other carrier's terms I could not without a significant financial penalty. Anna and Pam were very helpful and understood that I was overwhelmed with the back and forth and in the end made it easy on me despite nothing to gain from them. I was allowed to cancel without penalty as they advertise. I'm not so sure all carriers or brokers would have done even if they did advertise it.

I don't know how it goes if you actually ship with them, but I know they helped me out of a bind. And for that I am thankful
