Recently, I used State 2 State to move 2 of my vehicles from MI to CA. Initially, the contact was made very easily and I had no complaints. Actually Yali answered many questions because I was nervous about the process. Unfortunately, 2 weeks before I was ready to leave I asked if my pick up date was confirmed.I was told it was too soon. About 4 days before the pick up date, I received a call from another company I was going to use notifying me that my car was still on the carrier list to be picked up, and no one would take it because the price they were offering was too low. When I called about this, I was told that if I cancelled I would lose $200 deposit because it was within 7 days of the pick up date. As much as I understand that it's for their protection, it is hard to work with because you are not sure until the last second if your car will be picked up. And in my case, I was leaving the state for good after the 2 day pick up window because of work. In the end, they found a company - His Will for US. I really liked the drivers, they were so flexible with my times/dates and really made all the stress before worth it. Unfortunately, the newer vehicle was dropped off with a big dent on the roof that was not noticed initially. Because we signed the inspection form there was nothing to be done afterwards. So basically, State 2 State gave me a great price, but I paid for it in other ways-added stress about not knowing for sure if my car was going to be picked up until very close to the pick up date and now I'm left paying for a damage on the vehicle they caused. This was my first experience moving cars, and truthfully I wish it had gone smoother.

The order was set up and dispatched accordingly to the contracts, we always confirm with the driver a couple days before the estimated pick up dates to assure the best timeframe of pick up. WE advised the customer the pick up dates and the driver called to arrange the time of pick up with her directly. We confirmed that the cars were picked up on time and we never heard from the customer after that to advise us on any damages to a vehicle. If we had heard from the customer that there was damages or she was unhappy in any way with the services, we would have tried to work out the problem. We are now hearing from this review that this happened. The price had nothing to do with the damages, we charge what the driver charges to do that specific route. If she had advised us, or done a good inspection on the vehicle and notated the damages, the repairs would have been covered by the driver. I tried to contact the customer today to speak in regards to this and have not heard back. I wish we knew this had happend to rectify the problem.
