Ended up paying $500 MORE than the agreed upon amount because the transporter wanted the agreed indicated on the agreement even though we had made a deposit and was only supposed to pay the balance.
When we contacted the broker, Mike M., he admitted to having some problems with the transporter but did nothing to honor our written agreement or refund our deposit!
We ended up having to pay the inflated amount because the transporter would not release our property off of his trailer until he received it.
Unprofessional, unethical con artists.
