I spent 2 days staying at home waiting for the pickup because showtime told me it will be picked up first on a Tuesday, then on Tuesday afternoon, they said it will be Wednesday. On Wednesday, they told me it will be Friday. The problem I have with this company is that they are not upfront and honest with me. In addition, everytime they said they will call me back, they NEVER call. I have to call to find out what is going on but still they are not telling me the truth.
Once I have the truck company contact info, it went a lot better. Turned out my order was not even assigned until Wednesday morning, then why are they telling me it will be picked up?
The actual trucking company was great, their dispatcher told me the time it will take to transport the car etc..as I have a deadline. My car has finally arrived today early. However, we have another wrinkle. NO ONE informed me that it is a COD. This is probably in the contract I signed somewhere but a good customer service will inform their customer verbally, afterall, who will have $900 cash with them at all time? My daughter was caught off guard and so do I. ATM machine usually has a limit on how much you can withdraw a day, fortunately she was able to get all the cash she needs to give to the driver.
My lessons learned: DO NOT trust these guys. PS, I placed a bad review here last week and they called me to take it off. I told them I will when my car is picked up and delivered on time as they promised. Guess what, they took my review off claiming I am not a customer, how bad is this? I really don't care for this kind of action.
Mason and Bert, I wish you guys will do something different to service your customers because maybe your company is not that bad. I did get a pretty good price but no communication from you until I put in a bad review? Really?? Is it really that hard to call your customer back when you said you will? Why can't you be a bit more hontest and upfront? This is not a good business practice and I honestly do not know how you can work there. I now understand why you don't even bother to call me back, you got your $150 broker fee, so why should you? Well you should take care of your customer if you want to good review here.
Finally, the trucking company was great, Gary the dispatcher and Elliott the driver delivered their promise to me and the car arrived on time. They totally kept their word and had been great.
Check with AAA, they do have good referrals on auto transport which I found out after I already signed up with these guys.
This is a very stressful 2 weeks dealing with this company for me!!
